I thought this might be a cool way to share information, activities and program ideas... a bit like an online interactive newsletter for our Region!
Capricorn Region includes all units in towns north of the Perth Metro Area but does not include Geraldton. At this stage the Geraldton area is known as Couthry North Region.
So... to date we have units in: Carnarvon, Exmouth, Tom Price, Newman and Kununurra and just today a Leader from the UK has enquired about reopening Karratha!!!! YAY we are already growing!!! In time I hope you will all feel "connected" and be able to share news, ideas and information.
Sharing Template
I have created a template for you to use to Share your infomation.
The sharing page you make is yours to use so you can share activities, games, great websites you have found or just brag about what you are doing!!!
Every Leader needs to make their own page - I just called mine Kim's Sharing Page (I know... so creative!!!). You can see the link to my page on the left. Once you create your own page, a link to yours will appear as if by magic!
I have made a Sharing Page template so if you follow the steps below carefully you should be able to create your page and start sharing!
Steps on how to create your Sharing Page in this website (thanks to Viv Evans our fantastic TAFE Lecturer and a dedicated Guide Leader!)
Before you start you must already be signed into Wikispaces
Step 1 Select the + symbol next to 'Pages and Files' in the top left side box. (Looks like image below)
Step 2A new window will pop up! Note the image below to see what it will look like.
In the Page Namebox - put your first name and Sharing Page. e.g. Kim's Sharing Page Important:In the 'Use a template'box - drop the arrow on the right to select the Sharing Page Template - this will add vital content to your page. In the 'Add Tags' box - type Sharing Pages. Your page will now be added to the Shring Pages heading on left hand side tab on our Wiki!
Step 3 Select the Create button and you should have your page Step 4Change your name in the top section of your new page.You can play with colours and text size by clicking on the Tsymbol next to the underline button! You cna add files from your own compyter using the "File" button! Just have a play - you can't go wrong... just remember to...
Step 5 Select Save in the top right hand corner of your page before exiting!
To edit your page
1. Select the Edit button at the top of the page
2. You are now ready to share anyhting you wnat to... webite links, photos, stories, ideas , games even Guiding gossip!
3. When finished select the Save button!

Simply click on their page and read what they have to share!
